چکیده
A field study was carried out in one of the fields Jdeidet Al-Shatt district is, located 30 km from center Baquba Diyala governorate, during autumnal season 2021-2022 on silty loam soil classified to a level under Typic Torrifluvent according modern American classification know effect adding chemical fertilizer and humic acid availability nitrogen, phosphorus potassium concentrations for cabbage leaves, randomized complete block design (RCBD) by using three replicates. The first factor compound NPK( 20:20:20 ) added at different levels 0, 150 kg ha-1, 300 while second 15 ha-1. Fertilizers were making an incision around plant two stages, when planting 43 days after date batch. results showed that ha-1 led significant differences phosphorous, sulfur elements inner where reached 2.55%,0.34%, 2.95%,1.36% respectively, outer leaves. In contrast, phosphorous 4.00 %, 0.34%, 2.67%, While superiority 2.33%, 0.32%, 2.77%,1.47% leaves 3.80 %,0.31 %,2.49%. Keywords: fertilizer, acid, N,P, K S, cabbage.

Effect of different fertilization on spring cabbage (Brassica oleracea L. var. capitata) production and fertilizer use efficiencies
Just after transplanting, the vegetable has difficulty in nutrients uptake. To explore the effect of different fertilization on spring cabbage (Brassica oleracea L. var. capitata) production and fertilizer use efficiencies, this experiment consisting of six treatments was implemented and divided into three groups: 1) no fertilizer (NF) and vegetable planting fertilizer (VPF); 2) conventional fe...
متن کاملChromosome Doubling of Microspore-Derived Plants from Cabbage (Brassica oleracea var. capitata L.) and Broccoli (Brassica oleracea var. italica L.)
Chromosome doubling of microspore-derived plants is an important factor in the practical application of microspore culture technology because breeding programs require a large number of genetically stable, homozygous doubled haploid plants with a high level of fertility. In the present paper, 29 populations of microspore-derived plantlets from cabbage (Brassica oleracea var. capitata) and brocc...
متن کاملEvaluation of Antioxidant Activities of Cabbage (Brassica oleracea L. var. capitata L.)
At present, it is widely-known that free radicals are the causes of illness such as cancers, coronary heart disease, Alzheimer’s disease and aging. One method of protection from free radical is the consumption of antioxidant-containing foods or herbs. Several analytical methods have been used for qualitative and quantitative determination of antioxidants. This project aimed to evaluate antioxid...
متن کاملEffect of salicylic acid on cabbage (Brassica oleracea var. Capitata) grown under salinity stress. Sunaina and Narsingh Bahadur Singh*
The effects of salicylic acid (SA) on growth and metabolism of Brassica oleracea var. Capitata under salt stress was studied in a hydroponic culture. NaCl at 50 mM concentration and SA at 0.5, 1.0, and 1.5mM concentrations were used as treatments. The results showed that salt exhibited inhibitory effects on shoot and root length, fresh and dry weight, and RWC of the seedlings. NaCl at 50 mM co...
متن کاملCabbage (Brassica oleracea L. var. capitata) phytochemicals with antioxidant and anti-inflammatory potential.
BACKGROUND The objective of this study was to investigate antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activity of cabbage phytochemicals. MATERIALS AND METHODS Color coordinates were evaluated by colorimetry, and the antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activities were analyzed by spectrophotometer for some common cabbage varieties. RESULTS Red heads had the highest total antioxidant contents followed b...
